Preterism simply leads to worldly deception

That may explain why chiliasts, on average, are demonstrably the most spiritually weak and theologically illiterate group since the invention of the printing press.

Seriously. Evangelicals overwhelmingly favor experience and emotionalism over knowledge and wisdom. From this abundance of often irrational feelings, personal Truth is defined and worshipped. Dispensationalism, particularly in the areas that differ from Classical Premillennialism is constantly proven to derive directly from charlatans, fraud and deliberate abuse of orthodox doctrines, hermeneutics and the received texts.

The proof of this is in the bounty of evidence of a long series of predictions, false observations and bogus prophecy that flood from so-called and lucrative "Prophecy Conferences", fiction novels, Grade-B movies and song designed to scare the Hell out of people, and use FUD as a replacement for Faith.

In a way, Dispensationalism's own claims mark it as the Apostasy. Dispensationalism, like its brothers in deception: Marxism and Evolution, came out of the intelligensia of Europe roughly the same time in the mid 1800s. All three had as its design an attack on Christianity. Evolution attacks origins and sin, Marxism attacks our on-going Relationship with God, and Dispensationalism attacks the doctines of Redemption and salvation.

Dispensationalism says that there will be a Great Apostasy which marks the last days. Then we are told we are just hours away from our LORD's return. So what false doctrine has emerged most recently that has steered people away from sound biblical teaching and has us all looking for this alleged Anti Christ? Yes, Dispensationalism is the new kid on the block, and has steered many people away from orthodox teachings and converted the Bible from being God's Revealed Word to nothing more than a magic book with secret Bible Codes and Nostradamus/Mayan/Egyptian "prophecies".

“Evangelicals overwhelmingly favor experience and emotionalism over knowledge and wisdom.”

That certainly seems to be the case in the responses I’ve received in this thread, so far, especially when it comes to the “emotionalism” part.
