I DON’T THINK WE CAN KNOW THAT.
From what I know of such social systems,
I suspect that a year later, everyone who attended the funeral heard quickly of the ‘secret’ message and was driven to seek God’s face more intensely.
I believe the cultural relationship style would have made that very likely.
And, I believe Holy Spirit is that faithful.
