The Church is perfect; the people are not.

You know, I got sick and tired of hearing this when I was LDS.
The LDS church is FAR from perfect and the behavior of its members reflect that.
The Body of Christ is made up of REAL believers, we aren’t perfect and no ‘church’ is. Only Christ is.
The church is not perfect, the church is people.
Jesus Christ is Perfection. God Almighty is Perfection.
