It just doesn’t make sense. twelve, 24, 25, apostles, disciples.....why again could none of these people keep the gospel from needing to be restored? God knew they would die eventually. There is no need for a restoration. And the funny thing is, Smith adopted a restorationist stance based upon Ridgon’s Campbellite infulence. There are several ‘restored’ churches that came out of Campbellite teachings - LDS is just one of them.
