Yes. The context is ciscumcision of Abraham. That did not save him, crossing the desert did. Read the Holy Scripture and you will become Catholic.

I guess Hebrews is not in the Vatican rubber 'Bible.'
Perhaps Alex Murphy can tell us how many times Paul noted in Hebrews that it was
FAITH in God's Word, what God said . . . that was accounted to Abraham et al EVEN IN THE OLD TESTAMENT ERA--AS RIGHTEOUSNESS.
I suspect God had Paul write it so many times from so many examples because of the stubborn, bull-headed contrariness of so many folks addicted to idolatrous relationships with, toward INSTITUTIONS and CULTISH WORKS-BASED NOTIONS OF SALVATION for so many centuries thereafter.
Perhaps Paul wasted his ink on such folks. Perhaps some compassionate angels will drill a hole and pour it in.
