Mark, to a Protestant mind, just enumerating the Three is "Trinity." IOW, as long as all Three are mentioned one way or another it is "Trinitarian." The theology behind the Holy Trinity, however, varies from one Protestant to another individually. That much is obvious form the posts on the FR alone.

Correct. The idea of Trinitarian doctrine is basically whatever they happen to 'feel' today.

Catholics are somewhat ambivalent to it; they can live with or without it in the Creed, because they hold that it is also true. The Orthodox reject it as the Credal statement, because "proceeds from the Father" to which the Creed alludes in the Greek original has to do with the eternal origin of the Holy Spirit, and not with the Pneumatic movement in the economy of our salvation.

Also correct. There are some that understand the Councils and their authority; but most Catholics don't really pay that much attention because we KNOW the Nicene Creed and its intention.

Thus, while nominally "Triniatrian," the mainline Protestants really do not have a dogmatic teaching on the Holy Trinity except that all three Hypostases are God (which is, of course, not what the NT authors ever mention).

All Protestants who believe in the Nicene Creed are essentially non Scriptural at that point, even when they kick and scream. The ones who believe in the coequal and coeternal Triune God are really not Bible believers at all, since there is no Scriptural proof of that belief.

How does one derive six Noahide laws form that is an enigma! But what do I know...I am being called a fool by people who believe in talking donkeys! :)

That's because they are used to talking to the image in the mirror.

Exactly. The Councils are believed inspired and as such on the par with the scriptures, keeping in mind that the Gospels take precedence.

Right again. And neither is there for the called "sola scirptura."
