God forbid a Catholic actually show up on a Catholic topic thread and attempt to defend the Church against the most reprehensible slanders and scandalous attacks.

Actually, it would be a refreshing change to see a Catholic actually defend the Catholic church using something besides strawmen and using vapid responses such as *That's NOT what the Catholic Church believes* and never providing any substance to back it up.
