What makes you think Galatians 2:20 does not apply to Catholics?

The Temple had a group of clerics ...

Yes, that is a similarity, although Catholic priests are ontologically different from heritable temple priesthood, as they are ontologically with Christ in the order of Melchizedek. So is our Mass the true sacrifice of the Golgotha and not a prefigurement of it in Hebrew rituals. Like I said, the Judaism of old is fulfilled, rather than repeated or imitated in Catholicism.

For your sake, I hope you would not suggest to your wife or mother that childbearing is not work.

“Wrong again. The Feast of the Sheaves is Jewish and Pentecost is Christian. Just as the Passover is Jewish and the Eucharist is Christian. I showed that and you had the grace to disappear at that point.”

Wrong again? Yes, you are.

Shavuot is in fact the festival of weeks, that's the meaning of the word. (Deut. 16:9,10) Also called Pentecost because of the the fifty days counted.

“The period from Passover to Shavuot is a time of great anticipation. We count each of the days from the second day of Passover to the day before Shavuot, 49 days or 7 full weeks, hence the name of the festival. See The Counting of the Omer. Shavuot is also sometimes known as Pentecost, because it falls on the 50th day. The counting reminds us of the important connection between Passover and Shavuot: Passover freed us physically from bondage, but the giving of the Torah on Shavuot redeemed us spiritually from our bondage to idolatry and immorality.

Remember now? Who disappeared? Hmm? I don't hear you..

And no, you don't get to ask any more questions or haven't you been paying attention?

The point is, in all these examples works are listed alongside faith.

Trinty UCC is as Christian as you are Baptist.

Yeah? Prove that they are any less Christian than you are.

Try harder next time.

I do not take or eschew action from the bidding of the likes of you.

Do the tiniest amount of research, even if it doesn't confirm your prejudices. It may not help you win the argument, but it might stifle a lot of laughter at your expense.

You've lost. We're closed.

You don't have to go home, but you can't stay here.

James 2 asserts nothing of the sort you seem to claim.

Maybe this evening I’ll get back to the list of Scriptures I still have on file to comment on from your false assertions that they support Salvation by FAITH PLUS.

On one hand the Catholics criticize Protestants for sola scriptura, relying on the Bible alone, and on the other hand, are now criticizing for abandoning Scripture.

Both are errors. Sola Scriptura is an error because were it true, it would be taught as a sole rule of faith in the scripture. But it is not, the Church is given as the sole rule of faith (Matthew 18:18).

Abandoning the scripture is an error because the scripture is the inspired word of God, not your phony hermeneutics (2 Tim. 3:16-17, Mark 7:7)

Without the grace of Jesus, which alone saves, you would not have good works.

Read your own posting. The idea of the Holy Spirit descending on the Apostles in the upper room is heresy and blasphemy to Jews. The only connection is that Christians built upon the idea of Shavuot to the Christian definition of Pentecost in the same manner that Christians built upon the idea of Passover to the Christian definition of the Eucharist.

To say that the Christian definition of Pentecost is the same as the Jewish one, not only goes against the Jewish Library, but it also is equivalent to the LDS version of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit being exactly the same as the Christian one, which of course it is not.

Remember now? Who disappeared? Hmm? I don't hear you..

It is God that gives eyes to see and ears to hear. Perhaps you missed that appointment.

However, your claims about the list of Scriptures indicate otherwise.

SALVATION by FAITH-PLUS is NOT Biblical and indicates that Christ’s Blood is inadequate in and of Itself.

What an insult to His death and to The Father’s sending Him for that purpose.

Polite wording doesn’t change the horrid facts of your assertions.

While I enjoy the good life as much as a Catholic should, the idea to somehow justify Protestant errors by pointing out that they, on top of every other harm they did, also brought about untold riches on its followers, — is as unbiblical as the rest of their wobbly theological edifice.

Wobbly? Most of the various sects have experienced an epic fail already, and the rest are painstakingly preparing for it...

the judgement of BELIEVERS WORKS, where rewards will be given

Yes. That is exactly what Purgatory is, a process of purification of a soul who is on its way to salvation. Note that the impuritues are purged before any reward becomes available.

NOT

AS A COMPONENT OF SALVATION.

As a fruit of the Saved walking with God, certainly.

VERY DIFFERENT ISSUES.

What makes you think Galatians 2:20 does not apply to Catholics?

It wasn't my opinion; it was yours.

You said "the Catholic Christian receives the Living Christ every time he comes to Mass."

Therefore since the Roman Catholic supposedly receives Christ during the Roman Catholic mass, there must be times when Christ is absent from the Roman Catholic (assuming the Roman Catholic is not attending mass taking the Lord's Supper 24 hours a day.)

This opinion of yours is unlike the assurance experienced by Bible-believing Christians who know and believe Gal. 2:20 which says Jesus Christ indwells His sheep 24/7. Christ is never absent from His sheep.

Therefore it's you who has excluded Roman Catholics from Galatians 2:20.
