.- Thousands of pilgrims and faithful gathered at noon Sunday in St. Peters Square to pray the Angelus with the Holy Father. Before the prayer, he said that the fruits of the recently ended Year for Priests could never be measured, but are already visible and will continue to be ever more so.
The priest is a gift from the heart of Christ, a gift for the Church and for the world. From the heart of the Son of God, overflowing with love, all the goods of the Church spring forth, proclaimed Pope Benedict XVI. One of those goods is the vocations of those men who, conquered by the Lord Jesus, leave everything behind to dedicate themselves completely to the Christian community, following the example of the Good Shepherd.
The Holy Father described the priest as having been formed by the same charity of Christ, that love which compelled him to give his life for his friends and to forgive his enemies.
Therefore, he continued, priests are the primary builders of the civilization of love.
Benedict XVI exhorted priests to always seek the intercession of St. John Marie Vianney, whose prayer, the Act of Love, was prayed frequently during the Year for Priests, and continues to fuel our dialogue with God.
The pontiff also spoke about the close of the Year for Priests, which took place this past week and culminated with the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. He emphasized the unforgettable days in the presence of more than 15,000 priests from around the world.
The feast of the Sacred Heart is traditionally a day of priestly holiness, but this time it was especially so, Benedict XVI remarked.
Pope Benedict concluded his comments by noting that, in contemplating history, one observes so many pages of authentic social and spiritual renewal which have been written by the decisive contribution of Catholic priests. These were inspired only by their passion for the Gospel and for mankind, for his true civil and religious freedom.
So many initiatives that promote the entire human being have begun with the intuition of a priestly heart, he exclaimed.
The Pope then prayed the Angelus, greeted those present in various languages, and imparted his apostolic blessing.

As to me setting aside the grace of God, you said: good works, a necessary divinely ordained part of grace. This indicates to me a complete imcomprehension of what "grace" means and a total disregard for Scriptural truths that clearly state we do not contribute anything to the sacrifice Christ made on our behalf. He paid the penalty for sin - completely - it is "blood that makes an atonement for the soul" not good works.
What I have contemplated is what a vast morass of self doubt anti-Catholics find themselves in that compels them to spend thousands of hours of their time engaged in Catholic topic threads repeating the false mantras of the so-called reformists to each other knowing that Catholics find it no more than an annoyance.
Your standard dictionary probably includes the concepts that GRACE = GOD'S UNMERITED, UNEARNED, FREE-GIFTED, USUALLY FAITH FOSTERD--FAVOR, SALVATION!

There actually are "Catholic Dictionaries" that are not made of rubber or constructed from the fever dreams and aspirations of alter pontiffs. Perhaps you should consult one and make a legitimate attempt to refute it with intellect instead of multicolored emotions. Expressing your "feelings" is so......liberal of you.
GRACE:
In biblical language the condescension or benevolence (Greek charis) shown by God toward the human race; it is also the unmerited gift proceeding from this benevolent disposition. Grace, therefore, is a totally gratuitous gift on which man has absolutely no claim. Where on occasion the Scriptures speak of grace as pleasing charm or thanks for favors received, this is a derived and not primary use of the term.
As the Church has come to explain the meaning of grace, it refers to something more than the gifts of nature, such as creation or the blessings of bodily health. Grace is the supernatural gift that God, of his free benevolence, bestows on rational creatures for their eternal salvation. The gifts of grace are essentially supernatural. They surpass the being, powers, and claims of created nature, namely sanctifying grace, the infused virtues, the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and actual grace. They are the indispensable means necessary to reach the beatific vision. We asked the Lord to show us the spiritual condition of the pastors. The pastors appeared as though they were stuffed humans. They looked like stuffed animals. As though, someone had stuffed them for some exhibition. Their heads were unusually large and filled with human knowledge. But their hearts were completely empty. There were countless number of coffins filled with the dead bodies of pastors. It appeared endless. All the coffins were covered with a garment. The garment had a cross stenciled to it. The coffins were thrown into the entrance of the place shaped as a trumpet. The coffins hit the entrance and smashed into pieces. With the coffins destroyed, the pastors jumped out naked and slide down the narrow path of the trumpet shaped place of hell. The site was miserable.
As they slide down on their back and head first, they shouted, Ugh! I am so sorry! Save me! Ugh! I did not know! I did it because I did not know, please forgive me! Save me! When they reached the bottom, they hit the ground with their heads. The bottom was pitch black and it was impossible to see anything. The bottom was already full of numerous corrupted pastors. They were piled up like a mountain. As the pastors slide down to the bottom, they screamed at one another. Hey, why are you pushing me! Ugh! I must climb out of here! It is too dark! It is suffocating! Lord! Help me! Save me! Their screams echoed throughout the place.
As I wailed and I asked the Lord. Lord! On what grounds have the pastors come to hell? It is not like that they did not believe in you. They must have loved their church congregation very much. Moreover, as pastors, they must have known the Word more than any others.
With a frightening and firm voice, the Lord spoke with wrath. They are no longer a pastor! They have mocked Me! They were the ones who blasphemed against the Holy Spirit and opposed the work of the Holy Spirit. They never taught about the gifts. In fact, they denied the gifts. They did not keep Sunday Holy. They were the one who incorrectly taught their congregation. They had made the sheep blind! They were hypocrites and greedy for money. Among them, there are also countless number of pastors who had talked dirty and committed adultery.

As a matter of fact, the concept of keeping Sunday Holy had become hazy and obscured within the church. The concept of Holiness had completely been erased. With the pretense of freely serving the Lord through the gospel, the concept of keeping Sunday Holy had deteriorated. It is the piteous reality that the church does not live Holy including the pastors. I have come to realized that it is more difficult for pastors to enter heaven than regular believers.

Would you please provide me with the OFFICIAL magisterium's commentary of that scripture.. seeing the church is the only one that can correctly interpret scripture. asI believe catholics are not allowed any private interpretation, so I am sure you have the official reading at hand ...Does the OFFICIAL reading of the Catholic authorized commentaries say all men are the brethren of the saved?

In some cases, Paul called Jesus a man and not God. Do you have anything to say about that? Where is the Reformed version of Paul now, as opposed to the Christian one?
