I understand that their are dangers as well in meditation and is addictive as well...understandable as doing so does activate the feel good chemicals our bodies produce....some have serious tics, great sleepiness, cognitive disorders etc...especially those who practice this on schedules and over time..too as they move into the next “dimension”...it requires time and money to go the circuit....

Did you experience this dissociative state as well?

Only for a few seconds. My, "Oh, cool", would break the spell in short order. I finally quit all of this stuff because it took a lot of time and improved nothing except a well-manucured weirdness.

There is indeed a spiritual existence, and it does interact with us in our daily lives. The problem with enhancing our ability to contact the unseen is that there is no way to discern the intentions of the unseen. Led by the unknowing, one is sure to run afoul of strong forces that aren't friendly.
