From a Christian perspective all these channelers are saying is hocus pocus mumbo jumbo and can easily be debunked via scripture....

Generally they go off into their fantasy land with no regard for reality...they speak in generalities otherwise which any person could say....”The earth will have difficulties in the year 2010.”.....well, in what way? How? Be specific. They simple borrow from what is already known and reveal nothing at all, or manufacture whatever they think will sell to the hearers.

As you can tell they speak in circles because it is fantasy.

You were saying ...

From a Christian perspective all these channelers are saying is hocus pocus mumbo jumbo and can easily be debunked via scripture....

There are a whole lot of hoaxsters out there, to take advantage of people who believe that there are people who can "channel" messages from some other entities and give instruction or messages to people here on this earth.

But, even while saying that (and there might be 99% hoaxsters out there doing so) -- I think one has to realize that there are those who "are actually channeling messages" from other entities in some other existence, other than what we see in front of us, in the world that mankind lives in everyday.

Now, what the Bible "debunks" is not so much that there is no one that these meesages are coming from -- and it's not "debunking" that there are no people who can "channel messages" -- but the Bible is saying that it's a sin "to do so". And as we all know, the law that was given to Israel that they were to follow, under God's theocracy of government -- was that anyone who did so, was to be stoned.

I should also say that the Bible debunks the "content of those channeled messages" -- without a doubt. There's no question that there is the One True God and that all others are false gods, not real at all, and only made up of wood and stone and other materials, having no life in those materials. But, that's not to say that there are no evil angels, perpetrating their false messages, to "channelers" who then spread those false messages, called "doctrines of demons" (in the Bible) to others in our contemporary society.

So..., today, we live in a society where people are not stoned for doing that, as God commanded in Israel. But Christians still know that it's a sin that we should stay away from (especially if we are going to follow God's word).

However, that's not going to stop those "hoaxsters" -- and -- it's certainly not going to stop those are are "really doing it" either ... Their "judgment day" is coming, the Great White Throne judgement, as told to us in Revelation 20.

And the ones that are giving those messages, are clearly those fallen angels, those 1/3 of the angelic realm that rebelled with Satan -- against God and His law. They are the ones (as the Bible says) who are perpetrating the "doctrine of demons" -- because that's where those messages come from.
