You were saying ...

I have my doubts about "established religion" as well.

Well..., in what I'm saying -- I know that many look at it from the standpoint of "established religion" -- but I only look at it from the standpoint of the Word of God, the Bible and what God says through it.

It wouldn't matter to me how "organized" or "unorganized" some "religion" is -- but rather, what does God say in His own Word about various things (which are said in the Bible).

To me some denominational distinctive, something that sets one group apart from another, some "membership" in one group versus another group -- doesn't mean anything to me.

Of course, I'm not saying that I don't listen to or study things that (let's say) some church teaches or preaches, or study some doctrinal course at some school or seminary, or adhere to the understanding of the Bible that a particular church says it has. I do all that. It's just that it doesn't make any difference when considering if something is true or not.

What makes a difference in the "truth of the matter" is simply what God's word says about it.

There are a lot of churches that do adhere to what the Word of God say, so I'm not saying to not go to any of them. But, at the same time there are others who don't. So, you better know what the Word of God says before you get involved in some particular church.

BUT, with all that said -- and with "tossing out" every single denomination out there as irrelevant (in terms of the Word of God, itself) -- and getting rid of "all organized religion" -- you're still going to come back to these points of God telling us that we're going to be raised from the dead, some are going to be "changed" in a twinkling of an eye, if they are alive at that particular time, and with the fact of Peter walking over to Jesus on the storm waves, and with Israel crossing a body of water with walls of water on each side of it, with the fact that we're told that we can actually "entertain angels" and not be aware that they are angels -- and it goes on and on and on.

All that (even when you ignore all "organized religion" and you dump all denominations) -- you've still got all that -- which you can't put into mathematics and/or any laws of physics.

HOWEVER, I'll tell you what you do have, instead -- is you have the "witness" and the "testimony" of God and also from all who have seen what God has done, and are able to verify it for us.

AND..., you've got "God's witness, itself, to us" -- telling us what mathematics can't say a single thing about and what the laws of physics is totally unable to explain.

You've got God's witness, His own direct word, straight from Him -- telling us about things -- when there was "no such thing that existed" as "physics". God tells us about things at a "time" -- when there was "no such thing as time, itself" -- in existence. Also, God tells us, Himself, about His own existence -- in which He is currently existing where there is "no time at all" -- even while we live in a dimensionality in which we are confined by one parameter of our existence, called "time"...

AND SO ... it's actually -- only God's witness, itself -- that is the distinguishing factor here -- and not "mathematics" or "physics" ... :-)

Well put.

None are so blind as those who WILL NOT see.
