I was raised a Jehovah’s Witness.

The Watchtower might be the most widely DISTRIBUTED since it’s free, it’s hardly the most widely read.

If I'm walking down the street and an extremely rude person won't leave me alone until I accept a piece of literature (and I use that term very loosely), I will typically take whatever they have to offer and then discard it as soon as I am out of the miscreant's line of sight. Generally, such people remind me of the Mexicans on the Strip in Las Vegas who are passing out the cards for hookers, cards that perpetually litter the sidewalks.

Widespread distribution DOES NOT necessarily mean that something is widely read, and this is especially true when it's being distributed by obnoxious fools.

It’s a laughable claim.
