I felt it unjust. Its amazing what power the local parish priest has isn’t it.
And yet, you claim that it is a lie, that you are anti-Catholic?
What is it that you like about the Catholic church? It harmed your poor poor nana, who evidently didn’t mind and kept attending it, and you joined an heretical church, you state on the forum that I, a Catholic, lied about you, and you would never let a priest deny communion to you, yet you are not anti-Catholic?
Please. You are no longer 17. Likely your grandmother had reasons for not receiving communion that were none of your business, and didn’t care to discuss them with a mere child, so she made an excuse.
It may have been unjust regards your relative. Neither you nor I know all the facts, and the party most knowledgeable accepted the dictat of the priest. Q.E.D.
Regards you, no question you did the right thing in NOT going to the Communion rail. Had you, what do you think would have happened?
“I felt it unjust.”
It is liberals who base it all on feeeeeeeeeeelings. Grow up and learn the truth!
“Its amazing what power the local parish priest has isnt it.”
Which to me points out the fallacy of the Catholic Church. Yes priests of all flavors are held to higher standards. Its a position of responsibility and not power though.
