” but yet I cannot because not baptised a Catholic receive communion at a Catholic Church alter.”

The catholic church alter has no power to save. Only the blood of Christ. So I don’t see how you are missing anything except rote reading of rites, praying to dead people, and idol worship.

Agree. And how sad I felt when my own Grandmother who was a Catholic was denied communion.

These are not dead people..

Rev 5:8

The Lamb came forward to take the scroll from the right hand of the One sitting on the throne,
and when he took it, the four living creatures prostrated themselves before him and with them the twenty-four elders; each one of them was holding a harp and had a golden bowl full of incense which are the prayers of the saints.

Rev 8 3-4
Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. A large quantity of incense was given to him to offer with the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar that stood in front of the throne;
and so from the angel’s hand the smoke of the incense went up in the presence of God and with it the prayers of the saints

Dead People praying for those on earth.
Rev 6:9-10

9 When he broke the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of all the people who had been killed on account of the Word of God, for witnessing to it.
10 They shouted in a loud voice, ‘Holy, true Master, how much longer will you wait before you pass sentence and take vengeance for our death on the inhabitants of the earth?’
11 Each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to be patient a little longer, until the roll was completed of their fellow-servants and brothers who were still to be killed as they had been.

Prayer is a request..not worship. We only worship God.

People who talked to angels in Scripture...Abraham Genesis 22:11, Lot Gen 19:1-2, Jacob Gen 32:26-29, Gideon Judges 6:11-13, St Zacharias St Luke 1:18, the Blessed Virgin St Luke 1:34,38, St. Mary Magdalen St John 20:10-14, St John the Evangelist (Apoc/Rev 7:13-14..to name a few. The bible forbids us to offer divine worship to angels..BUT NEVER CONDEMNS PEOPLE FOR JUST TALKING TO THEM.

Invocations of Angels:

Ps 103:20-21

Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word. Bless ye the Lord, all ye his hosts: ye ministers of his that do his pleasure.

PS 148:1-2 Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights. Praise ye him, all his angels, praise ye him, all his hosts.

Angels of God intercedes for us..Apoc/Rev 8:3-4. Psalm 91:11-12, Daniel 12:1, Matthew 18:10, Acts 12:5-11,5, Hebrews 1:14.

Saints in Heaven. Jesus says they are like the angels of God..St. Matthew 22:30. Like the holy angels, are our fellow citizens of the heavenly Jerusalem Hebrews 12:22. We are all One Body of Christ 1 Corinthians 10:17, 12:13, Esphesians 4:4. and everyone one members of one another Romans 12:5. The bible says Christians to pray for one another and for the world..Romans 15:30, Corinthians 1:11, Ephesians 6:1819; colossians 4:3; I Thessalonians 5:25; 2 Thess 1:11; Hebrews 13:18.

Back to Apoc 5:8...Prayers of the Saints—>christians in Heaven.
