Well, I believe the Bible as quoted. Campion said God can do whatever he wants. The Bible says he DOES do whatever he want.

God cannot lie and God cannot change.

James 1:17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

Hebrews 6:17 Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, he confirmed it with an oath. 18God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope offered to us may be greatly encouraged.

Yes and no.

It does say He cannot lie and that He never changes.

Yet, Moses changed His mind.

Yet His character etc. never changes.

I don’t believe He ‘can’ do anything against His character, nature etc.

I don’t believe he ‘can’ be unloving. God is love.

He’s never going to stop being Love.

imho.
