That tired old SHALLOW STRAW DOG IS ABSURD, DISINGENUOUS AND ULTIMATELY DISHONEST TO THE MAX.

As has been demonstrated on FR for over a decade and certainly relentlessly the last 6+ months . . . the Roman Catholic et al Vatican edifice/institution is fractured at least as much as the Protestant camp.

Oh, but, Oh, but, but, but the Catechism, the Catechism! We all bow and scrape before the same Catechism!

WHAT UNMITIGATED BALDERDASH.

1. When one has even Bishops supporting/ignoring/covering over everything under the sun CONTRARY to the Catechism--including getting it on with adolescent and younger boys . . .

2. When MOST OF the Roman Catholic et al politicos in Washington and elsewhere brazenly violate a sizeable chunk of the Catechism and STILL enjoy approval, The Lord's Supper and acclaim from Roman Catholic hierarchy including the Pope . . .

3. When, as has been demonstrated hereon, a Roman Catholic considered more or less in good standing, can castigate Paul as insane and disagree with a number of other parts of the Catechism . . .

4. When plenty of Roman Catholics et al can seemingly with a straight face disagree with major portions of the Catechism . . . persistently engaging in unforgiveness, bitterness, resentment, telling other Christians to "go to hell" and the like . . .

5. The Roman Catholic et al edifice has within it as many opinions and practices about Pentecostalism/Charismania as do the Protestants.

6. The Roman Catholic et al edifice has within it as many opinions and practices about END TIMES ESCATOLOGY as do the Protestants.

7. The Roman Catholic et al edifice has within it as many opinions and practices about globalism and the looming global tyranny as do Protestants and atheists combined.

8. The Roman Catholic et al edifice has within it AT LEAST as many pseudo-Christians--in name only--as Protestants.

9. The Roman Catholic et al edifice has within it AT LEAST as many murderous, genocidal, corrupt, criminal guilts and sins of the past against those in its designated OUT-GROUPS as the Protestant camp.

10. The Roman Catholic et al universities teach AT LEAST as many unGodly, UNBiblical horrors as the Protestant universities.

11. The Roman Catholic et al owned and/or managed main stream media outlets publish AT LEAST as many UNGodly, UNBiblical horrors, lies and distorted propaganda as do Protestant owned MSM outlets.

12. The Roman Catholic et al congregations emphasize, teach, support, allow, ignore, play coyly with AT LEAST as many horrific sins as do Protestant congregations.

13. The Roman Catholic et al Pastors twist, distort, undermine, lie about, shred, mangle, subvert . . . AT LEAST as many Bible verses and probably at least as many different ways as Protestant Pastors do.

14. On this forum alone, a diversity of Roman Catholics et al have asserted most emphatically stuff about Mary which other Roman Catholics et al have asserted contrary things about.

15. We've been told ad nauseum that NO ROMAN CATHOLIC ET AL PRAYS TO MARY FOR MARY TO DO THINGS *FOR* THEM. We have documented that IS wholesale chronically, farcically FALSE, UNTRUE--at some level a gross deception if not an outright deluded lie.

16. We've been told relentlessly that NO ROMAN CATHOLIC PUTS MARY IN ANY KIND OF INORDINATE PLACE vis a vis Christ, God, Holy Spirit. We've documented a wealth of material proving otherwise as have an abundance of folks hereon proven otherwise.

THE BIBLE SAYS THAT THE LETTER OF THE LAW IS DEATH BUT THE SPIRIT BRINGS LIFE. AND THAT'S TALKING ABOUT SCRIPTURE!

However admirable the Catechism may be in however many spots--it is still MERELY the letter of the INTERPRETED WRITTEN LAW. In and of itself, it can only bring death.

Ya'll point to the Catechism as though it's a thought-stopping, argument settling, terminal issue settler. HOW CAN IT BE ANY MORE ALL THAT THAN SCRIPTURE IS! WHAT UNMITIGATED MAGICSTERICAL ARROGANCE!

MOST of the Roman Catholics I know are MOSTLY Sunday Christians only. I should say--for an hour a day on Sunday--Sunday Christians. Maybe 20% or less seem to earnestly try to please God and walk in His will. I don't know how that compares to Protty stats. Most Prottys don't still claim to be Christians in good standing regardless as a lot of Roman Catholics et al seem to do.

I usually preferred Roman Catholic counseling clients over a lot of other orientations because they would obediently try and do what I suggested and they'd get dramatically better fairly rapidly. Most of those were earnest faithful Roman Catholics et al.

The Sunday only Roman Catholics et al were as contrary, messed up and problematic as clients as ever any Protty I ever had to wrestle interminably with.

The frightful things about the Vatican Edifice at this point, to me are:

A) HORRIFIC LEVELS AND MASSIVE NUMBERS OF INDIVIDUALS INVOLVED IN OUTRAGEOUS DEGREES OF IDOLATRY AND BLASPHEMY WITH INSTITUTIONAL LOOKING THE OTHER WAY, IF NOT OUTRIGHT SUPPORTING IT FOR A LOT OF MONETARY INCOME.
B) AN INCREASINGLY STARTLING AMOUNT OF SUPPORT FOR GLOBALISM AND THE LOOMING TYRANNICAL GLOBAL GOVERNMENT--and therefore, ultimately, the satanic world ruler.

Y'all PRETEND most disingenuously, deceptively that the Catechism homogenizes faith and practices within the Roman Catholic et al edifice. It is demonstrable hereon as well as in the Main Stream Media and in the lives of all who know any sizeable number of Roman Catholic et al's AT ALL--THAT SUCH IS JUST SIMPLY ***FAR*** FROM THE CASE.

What gives y'all the cheeky ARROGANCE to pretend, to IMAGINE, TO FANTASIZE that your magicsterically derrived Catechism is going to achieve MORE FAITHFUL HOMOGENIZATION IN REAL LIFE--WHERE THE RUBBER MEETS THE ROAD--THAN SCRIPTURE HAS???

Your religion is not only NOT ANY BETTER than the Protestant camp, there's abundant evidence that it's horrifically worse in several critical areas.

That's NOTHING to PUFF ONE'S SELF UP OVER AND brag about.
