CAMPION: Both Adam and Eve came into the world without sin, so that is not an "attribute that belongs only to Jesus".

Adam and Eve possessed the capacity to sin and they chose to exercise that option, forever corrupting their own nature and the nature of their offspring (which includes Mary.)

Christ, being God, possessed no capacity to sin.

BOATBUMS: This doesn't in any way dishonor Mary. It acknowledges her humanity and ratifies the human nature Jesus himself has - yet without sin - because of his divine nature which was why he could be a sacrifice for all sins.

Amen!
