There’s the Living Word, John 1:1, and the written Word, which is Scripture and is inspired. The *Word* means both. John 1 makes it clear that Jesus is the Word, and Scripture is the word. I really despair of exCatholics and their understanding not only of things Christian, but things Protestant as well.
