Not at all. I just want to know who I’m talking to, with respect to religion. After all, it isn’t just Catholic/Non-Catholic, it’s Catholic/Presbyterian/Baptist/Lutheran/Anglican/Methodist/etc.

People make demands on Catholics all the time, demand we explain this and that, and they THINK they know what we believe. No matter how many times we tell them, they still demand hairsplitting explanations. They tell us what we believe, how we vote, how many times we read the Bible, how we do it wrong, etc.

So, I want to know who I’m talking to, that is demanding explanations of every freaking word printed by anybody who was ever Catholic.

Big deal. If someone posts an article by Benny Hinn, or Rick Warren or John MacArthur or Spurgeon or Piper ,and claim that it is true without doubt, we might be all over it, maybe we agree, maybe we don’t. I really doubt one of us would call another a bigot for defending or attacking it.

And for that you hound people for personal information that could compromise their screen name and then decide not to post to them again because they won’t provide it?

Why is it so important to you to know our identities?

Wellll....I would think that just goes with the territory when a religion claims to be the "ONLY, TRUE, HOLY, ONE, UNIVERSAL Church" and that all those who do not belong to it - formally - are not true Christians. I know of NO other Christian faith - with the exception of some cults - that proclaim that with such expressed AUTHORITY.

Why can it not be okay that a person who holds to the basic tenents of Christianity - and we KNOW what those are - be considered a fellow Christian, a brother or sister in the family of Christ?
