Just because I agree with some Catholic teachings, or they agree with mine, and/or they agree with the Bible, certainly doesn’t mean, nor should it, that I agree with all of them.

BTW, I thought the Bible was/is HISTORICAL teaching, inspired by God, unlike the historical writings of the church fathers which are filled with error and disagreement along with their valid observations. If your appeal is to extra-biblical writers, they are entitled to their opinion, as you are entitled to yours.

Without the Church fathers you have no idea the NT is from God because there is not a single autograph from the Apostles. You believe them because the Church Fathers say they were inspired and gave you the canon.
Read thier lives ,dear friend and how many were brutally murdered to give you those Scriptures you read in the comfort of your home.
