I put it out there for whoever's discernment. (Call me skeptical, since Harold Camping's been wrong before, but, hey, what do I know?)
Harold Camping has turned insane and is now a false prophet:

Bush’s Fault!
Fortunately for Camping, we are no longer under the old covenant - he'd be stoned otherwise.
There are a lot of great studies done of end-time events, and it hurts no one to become knowledgeable of the events that will take place. But stay far away from those works that assign dates.
If he is wrong on any point — he’s wrong. I detect a couple of klinkers in the tract.
Given how many arguments there are over the exact dates for most biblical events, I’d say he’s pulling those numbers out of his . . . well lets just say not his Bible!

Ahh. OK. I was wondering where you were going with this. (Surely, not you too...)
Harold Camping. If he was ever a standard a- or post-mil kind of guy, he's far from that now.
Harold Camping
You might want to give a listen here (part one) and here (part two) of some fairly intense interaction between Camping and protestant apologist James White.
Sort of interaction, anyway. My impression at the time was that Camping wasn't all there anymore (he's way over 80). Camping would just take off on some off the wall numerology.
You're wise to be skeptical! This group should be added to all the "millennialist" prophecy groups one finds in the world. When Jesus returns, well, that's the END, period. Judgment Day is the day when ALL will be judged, both the dead and the living. There is no such "date" of Jesus' return to be found in the Bible, regardless of all the so-called prophecy experts. Yes, be skeptical...and watch and remain steadfast in the faith until the day one dies - one can then count on receiving the crown of glory, immortality!
So is it when people who laugh at such things turn right around and try to use it to "prove" that the messiah came two thousand years ago.
Funny, the same thing tends to cross my mind anytime I read a "this is the day" missive. Oh well.
OT:
Ack, did you see the pics of Anubus re: New York prepares for Tut’s treasures return?

Yikes, just saying.
Which of course disqualifies him as a prophet of God. He's just another loon looking to suck in the gullible and biblically illiterate throngs.
Isaiah 46
8 Remember this and stand firm,
recall it to mind, you transgressors,
9 remember the former things of old;
for I am God, and there is no other;
I am God, and there is none like me,
10 declaring the end from the beginning
and from ancient times things not yet done,
saying, My counsel shall stand,
and I will accomplish all my purpose,
11 calling a bird of prey from the east,
the man of my counsel from a far country.
I have spoken, and I will bring it to pass;
I have purposed, and I will do it.
"But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father."
