So, an elder cannot be accused of child sexual abuse without multiple witnesses? The elsers can inquire into your marriage, your finances, your reputation in your neighborhood, your church reputation, your church attendance, etc., and this is not supposed to be considered an inquisition?

Ridiculous! There is apparently no “seal of the confessional” with these inquisitors, either. They can bring up anything you tell them to the church session, at their discretion.

I cannot imagine why ANYONE would subject him/herself to this.

Disgusting!

It is God's will to handle it this way:

Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

But if he will not hear [thee, then] take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell [it] unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican. - Matthew 18:15-17

God's Name is I AM.

That is the same standard applied to both rape and molestations accusations under Sharia Law. Coincidence? I think not.
