“Those who believe in Jesus and trust His blood and righteousness for their salvation are prepared for His coming.”

Those who believe in Jesus and trust His blood and righteousness for their salvation are prepared for His coming IF they’re watching and praying that they’re worthy to avoid the coming wrath.

Not all people who profess to be Christians are prepared.

You are completely correct in your assertion. Only Jesus saves and only those that trust in Him will be saved. From looking at the others' commentts, it is easy to rush to judgement on this posting. It has nothing to do with Hal Lindley, America-Israel replacement theology, Ted Armstrong, pre-millenial or mid-millenial. God's people will endure the tribulation that will come upon the earth and Jesus promised to be with us until the end. The prophecy we are discussing here has to do with the Lamb-like beast of Revelation, chapter 13. This is no gimmcik and anyone who wants to investigate this further can do so at the website. In regards to the fellow-freeper who said this was a "tease", here is a little more theology behind this. Study the scriptures to find yourself approved...

AMERICA IN PROPHECY: Is the United States of America spotlighted in Bible prophecy?

Not every nation is in the Bible and Prophecy. But because the United States influences and will continue to influence the entire world, it is in the Bible.

TWO BEASTS OF REVELATION 13: Two great global forces and powers in the last days.

“Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon.” Revelation 13:11

THE SYMBOL OF A BEAST: What does a beast represent? = Kingdom or Nation. “Thus he said: ‘The fourth beast shall be a fourth kingdom on earth…” Daniel 7:23

LOCATION: Where does this power arise?

“The waters which you saw…are people’s multitudes, and nations, and tongues.” Revelation 17:15

This new beast comes up out of the earth or an unpopulated area. TIMING: When does this power arise?

“He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity” Revelation 13:10

When did the Pope go into captivity? 1798. See your Encyclopedia.

In 1798 Napoleon ordered the Pope Pius 6th to be taken prisoner. This was a fulfillment of prophecy. 538 AD --------------------- 1798 AD This time period is mentioned in Daniela and Revelation seven times.

Revelation 13:5 - 42 Months x 30 = 1260 538 A.D. ---------- 1798

Why 538 A.D. because that is when the Roman decree went into effect to make the Bishop or Pontiff of Rome, the head of all churches, the definer of doctrine, and the corrector or enforcer of heretics thus ushering in the Dark Ages that would span centuries. This was a terrible time of religious persecution.

AMERICAN HISTORY: What great historic events and developments happened at this time in American history? This is truly an amazing fulfillment of Bible prophecy! Notice how we study Bible prophecy and history together because many prophecies have already been fulfilled and helps us to also understand how prophecies are also continuing to be fulfilled in our day and in very son in the future.

1775 1775 Battle for Independence.

1776 Declaration of Independence.

1787 Constitution.

1789 1st President: George Washington.

1790 Supreme Court

1791 Bill of Rights.

PEACE-LOVING: How does this power arise?

“Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb…” Revelation 13:11

TWO HORNS LIKE A LAMB. It would have a relatively peaceful rise and a gradual one.

TWO HORNS: What do the TWO HORNS LIKE A LAMB represent?

There are no crowns on the horns of the second beast.

The first beast has crowns.

Crowns indicate kingly authority.

The lack of crowns indicates freedom.

Horns are a symbol of power.

They indicate that this second beast derives its power from political and religious freedom.

LAMB: What does it mean that this has LAMB-LIKE HORNS?

It would have some type of characteristics of a harmless Lamb: Innocence, peace loving, Christ-like in some respects.

A “Church without a pope, and a state without a king.”

REVIEW: Let us review quickly, briefly what we have learned thus far about this Second Beast of Revelation 13:

Arising around 1798

Arise in a relatively unpopulated area.

It would be a young nation.

It would have no crowned head, no kingly authority.

A “Church without a pope, and a state without a king.”

What is the only nation that fits this description?

We are a blessed nation… We are a PROSPEROUS NATION

The United States in Bible Prophecy:

A beast = a power or nation.

Sea = people or populated area

Earth = Arises in a new world; sparsely populated area.

Arises around 1798.

Lamb = Freedom loving.

Lamb = Christian nation.

Two horns = Separation of powers: Civil & Religious. No crowns = Democracy

Dominant force in end events.

LAMB LIKE POWER = FREEDOM & CHRISTIAN
