Not so fast. Who does the knowing and who does the believing? God does the knowing and His people are supposed to do the believing. Scripture does not say what you claim it says. For instance, this personal relationship that is so often bruited about. Where does it say that in the Bible? Chapter and verse please.

Your posts blare it out in capital letters. Besides, Jesus said those words when applied to someone who was full of religious pride. Very applicable here.

I never said that. Following and believing God's Word is doing as He tells us. Bleating about God saving you and prospering you and waving your status about in capital letters is not following God's Word. It is simply Pharasaical.
I am a son of God and heir to all the promises.
With that attitude, you may not get to collect.
My God provides all my needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
Your God? Your own personal god that you have created in your own image? Is that the god you are referring to? You also said nothing about needs previously. You are changing your tune.
And all His promises to me are YES and AMEN!
You may wish to revisit 2 Corithians 1 to find out what Paul actually says.
Are you getting it yet - these are the promises of God to HIS CHILDREN. And you don't believe it - kinda shows were you stand.
I believe in the teachings of Christ, not the ravings of unlettered lunatics let free from the ruins of the Reformation or the rubble of the Restoration.

You cannot exalt yourself in the eyes of God. Nice effort, though.
