Because He Lives
God sent His son, they called Him Jesus
He came to love, heal, and forgive.
He lived and died to buy my pardon,
An empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives.

How sweet to hold a newborn baby,
And feel the pride and joy he gives.
But greater still the calm assurance,

I LOVE that old hymn!
As much as it pains me to read this article,(and well it should), I have to read it to fully understand what our Lord went through to save such a wretched soul that I am.
Praise the Lord, HE is no longer on that cross, and there is no way I can repay HIM for what HE did for me.
