It's true - I live in Utah and my Mormon friends and coworkers are some the most upright, honest, kind people I have ever known

However, they do not know Jesus Christ and they are horribly deceived.

If I were looking for a social club I'd join the LDS church, but I'm more concerned with my destiny after death, and they are not pointing to where I want to go.

Is preference given to temple worthy Mormons in political appts or promotion ?

***If I were looking for a social club I’d join the LDS church,***

Thirty nine years ago I went to a program at a local LDS church as I was dating a mormon girl at the time.
Several of the young people there were asked to give their testimony as to why they had joined the LDS.

Each and everyone said it was because of the social programs, frindly people, dances and other programs at the church.

NOT ONE said it was because they were lost and needed Christ.

The name of Jesus never came up during the testimonies.
