As noted in the article, this is from the CATECHISM OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH. Worth a visit.
Yes, I have a copy and find it to be a marvelous antidote to some of the excesses of my Protestant brethren.
Not being Catholic myself, I was curious whether the Catholic church uses the book of Revelation in its liturgy (mass), since I know the Orthodox do not. It’s fascinating to note the wide separation between the Christian denominations on this point: the “traditional” churches (if I can call them such), such as the Orthodox, Catholics, Anglicans, and Lutherans never talk about the rapture and end-times speculation and are decidedly amillennial (no rapture), but the evangelical churches seem to be overwhelmed/overly obsessed with the subject, perhaps at the expense of the Gospel. That is my own personal fear concerning the subject. Personally, I don’t care whether the rapture occurs or not, or when. All I know, is that my soul needs to be right with the Lord whenever He comes, and to simply expect Him at any time.
