Sorry, “pre-trib rapture” is shorthand for the view that Christ will return to “catch up” the saints to heaven, followed by seven years of tribulation and the rise of the Anti-Christ, who is then defeated at the end of the 7-year tribulation by Christ at His Second Coming.
As I mentioned, this is a view that I was brought up to believe, and which I was taught at my alma mater - Moody Bible Institute, which, along with Dallas Theological Seminary, Scofield Reference Bible, etc., were the main proponents of this view, which has held wide sway over much of Evangelical and Pentecostal/Charismatic churches. I gradually came to believe that this view was not supported by Scripture.
I quit using mine twelve years ago, preferring to use bibles without notes.
