I think, the American Papism in the first half of the 21 century will be a lot like American papism of Rumble and Carty: feral and toothy.
At least I hope so.

When I was visiting the priory in Youngstown Ohio, I was struck with the very Catholic quality of the place. Italian steelworkers apparently dominated the city. The Dominican priory and church were pretty astonishing! That had to have been going on since like the 1880’s or so.
