I'm not throwing rocks. I am a strong biblical Christian but I just don't believe this. I am highly suspicious of healing and prosperity gosples.

Not that I don't believe with all my heart that God CAN AND DOES heal. But we're sick because we live in a broken, fallen world.

And the children are dead. Millions of little children have died of disease.

I am much more concerned with spiritual illness. I mean, we all have to die of something eventually. For me, it will probably be a return of my cancer. So what? It's my heart I'm interested in.

SCRIPTURE is clear

that there’s a CONNECTION between the spiritual and physical health.

I WOULD THAT YOU PROSPER

AND BE IN HEALTH

EVEN AS YOUR SOUL PROSPERS.

THERE ARE dozens of other Scriptures indicating a similar connection between spiritual health and physical health.

I’ve never found it fruitful, healthful, nor righteous

to ignore Scripture in any way, shape, or form.

To do so and pretend that doing so was more righteous . . . or saner, or more practical or spiritual . . .

boggles my mind.
