Right now, God’s children are dying horrifically and need all the help they can get. I see this as two groups of people trying to help, as best they can. It sounds like the Mormons had the supplies and the Muslims had the funds. Rather that fight among each other, they partnered to help their brothers and sisters.

Why did they have to partner with the Muslims rather than other relief agencies?

The LDS are one of the richest businesses (tithes are paid to the CORPORATION OF THE PRESIDENT of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints) in the country.

There are other groups they could have partnered with, or they could have done it by themselves (as they have in the past).
