I'm not a great fan of the NIV (although it has merits and God can bring a sinner to salvation through it, if that's His will.)

But it sure seems like they stretched a few important points, not the least of which is substituting the curious "male shrine prostitutes" for the clarity of the word, "sodomites."

I agree. The NIV is not faithful, but I'm sure that does not limit God in any way.

Those who have "ears to hear" will.
