Just pro forma: We Catholics agree that an organization which is man-led is not what God had in mind. And, of course, as I've said before, it is only loosely speaking that I can be said to be a Roman Catholic. Technically I am a member of the Church of Richmond which is in communion with the See of Rome.

I believe in the See of Jesus Christ. There were churches following Christ up into the Caucuses Mountains and Eastern Europe, and all the way to Northwest Europe in the first three centuries which had never heard of the “See of Rome.”
