"May God make a harshly vivid example of her and her hideousness."

I normally don't read or respond to your postings but the absence of rainbow colored Cat-in-the-Hat prose fooled me.

I dare say that this was the most un-Christian posting I have seen yet and really underscores the difference between who the Catholics are and who they are not and the differences between the New and Everlasting Covenant and the vengeful God portrayed in the Old Testament. We pray for her redemption, for her heart to be changed and for her to receive Salvation not for her to be made a harshly vivid example of.

Nicely said - way to make it black & white (literally too!)

Whether it was Our Lady or UFOs at Fatima AND bearing in mind that Marian apparitions give me the creeps, I'd say what I pick up and cherish from Fatima is our Lady enjoining us to pray fervently for sinners.
Oh my Jesus,
Forgive us our sins;
Save us from the fires of Hell;
Lead all souls to Heaven
especially those most in need of thy mercy.
My emphasis, duh.

Dominic was said to weep often in his concern for the fate of sinners.

Surely it is a pretty thing, this compassion.

(And besides, now that every time we even TALK about a pyre the ACLU shows up and shuts us down, we might as well pray for 'em. I got all these marshmallows going to waste!)

So, yeah, while there is a sense that the righteous judgment of God on the reprobate will be part of the joy of the blessed, still between now and the end, it seems good to pray compassionately even for baby-killers.

so it seems to me.

That’s why wrath is one of the seven deadly sins — in this case, Wrath has resulted in a malediction. Maledictions smack of the occult; calling for bad events to happen to someone is the same as cursing them.

Cursing someone carries the hazard of demonic infestation, as does all persistence in any sin. That’s why I left the Religion Forum for a while, my participation was an occasion of sin for me.

Prayers for all to avoid this hazard, to follow Christ’s commandment and live in His Joy and Love, and to be blessed with His peace.

“Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the Evil One.”

Lord Jesus Christ, risen Son of the Living God, have mercy on me, a sinner.

Perhaps you skipped over this paragraph:

Of course she has the option to repent. I wouldn’t hold my breath. She seems to delight in trying to poke God Himself in the eye with a hot poker.

I have prayed that if possible, she may confess, repent and be saved.

My sense is that God has given her over to a reprobate mind as the NT speaks of.

I don’t relate kindly to folks supporting the raping of months old babies with hot curling irons.

There’s not been a shred of a hint of the slightest most sub-atomic particle’s worth of an opening toward the direction of the galaxy that might include repentance.

If any Roman Catholics et al wish to feel supportive of such a person, then may they do so whole-heartedly as unto The Lord.

The baby thing triggered a rising up of Holy Spirit within me in very stern terms.

Make of it what you will.
