Okay, now I get the context. Have you noticed the subject matter of this thread? Have you interacted with the_conscience? We are taken to task for using the name we call ourselves and have called ourselves for more than fifteen centuries. That's the point of the thread: who are we to call ourselves Catholic? Now, in this exchange, you take me to task for using a jocular phrase to denote us. So the one constant is that whatever we call ourselves, somebody on your side is going complain about it and try to get us to change it or to add a footnote or something. You tell me it's up to ME to clarify something you want clarified.

Tell you what: you want it clarified, you clarify it. You guys make generosity and humor almost impossible. Stop trying to tell me what to do. And then, wow! Suddenly the suggestion that there is some projection going on! And right before your post describing projection we get a fabulous example, one of many, and it's not from a Catholic either. There are a lot of free-floating control needs going on around here. I don't tell people what to call me, and I sure as shooting am not going to follow your request to modify my language to assuage some anxiety that I do not share. You got a problem, you fix it.
