My opinion is unimportant. God’s standard is the issue.

He has made it clear that in Christ alone is our hope of salvation. His work of salvation is complete. We bring nothing to it. We have no merit nor will we ever bring merit or works of any kind to the saving work of Christ.

The quality of our faith is immaterial if it is not faith built on this postulate: That Christ alone saves, and that we bring nothing to our own salvation.
