[Between the Lines]

I was pleased to find an Episcopal church whose website focused on religion, not ObamaCare. I left a message for the priest that I was looking for a church that didn't press a political agenda because I wasn't a liberal.

I received an icy reply from the priest, the Reverend Lucy, who said with barely-contained disgust, “I don't think you should check us out....

But an Episcopal priest rejecting me during the holiest time of year? Isn't anything or anyone sacred?

Who is the hypocrite here? Robyn makes it clear that she is putting politics over religion in looking for a new church, but accuses Rev. Lucy of the same thing. When if fact Rev. Lucy gave Robyn a correct reply based on Robyn's own priority. The reverend did her a favor and saved her a visit to a church she would obviously not approved of.

How sanctimonious can this woman be? To look for a church based on politics and yet condemn those who attend a church which puts politics above religion. It is double hypocrisy.

Robyn, you have an agenda and a hate for liberals and it is showing.

Sorry. What a troll you are. This woman was seeking and was rejected by a religious person, simply for her beliefs. If you read the entire article at American Thinker, you'd see what she was talking about...that the left's ideology determines EVERYTHING, including whom they care for, who gets help, and who they want attending their so-called churches.

The point is that it was clear that THAT church was based on politics.

But then you knew that. You're just looking to start a fight, as intolerant as the left always is.
