They do not crash planes into buildings and kill people in the name of their faith. That is good enough for me.
Very good to hear that from the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. They know what they’re talking about in regards to Mormonism and its teachings. They are definitely an anti-Christian cult group.
Of course, if one is a Christian, according to what the Scriptures say, then you already knew that the Mormon teachings were cult teachings... :-)
The LDS church stands as a testament to the fact that almost nobody gives a rat’s *** about theology one way or another and is a religious version of something which is too big to fail.
Oh, a disclaimer here, too... (that I forgot). I’m not a Lutheran, but the Lutherans are right about this...
If you're only concerned about this life, then that makes sense.
“They do not ... kill people in the name of their faith.”
Maybe. They certainly have in the recent past though. And in LDS strongholds in Utah and Idaho the Coroner is usually LDS.
Obama: If they make a mistake, I dont want them punished with a baby.
They do not crash planes into buildings and kill people in the name of their faith. That is good enough for me.
But, it's just as good as crashing planes into buildings and killing people -- because the Mormon teachings will send people straight to the lake of fire to be in eternal separation from God...
Of course, there may be some people here, who don't think that's such a big deal... LOL... (however, they would be sorely mistaken...).
Why shouldn't I be concerned about this life? I have a baby girl and she needs me to be there for her. That doesn't mean that keeping right by God is not a concern for me, but I do certainly have some very great earthly concerns as well.
Agreed. And Mormons serve honorably in the armed forces.
Maybe. They certainly have in the recent past though.
The Mormons and their teachings do worse than kill people by planes crashing into buildings. They send people to their eternal damnation, separated from God forevermore and in eternal torment.
I call that worse than simply being killed. It's like the Bible says, in that one should not be afraid of death, but fear the "second death" which comes from the lies of Satan. That's the Mormon teachings and that leads to eternal damnation, a far worse thing that "death" itself... (as the Bible explains to us).
Which church was it again that was ordaining homosexual clergy? (I’ll give you a hint, it starts with “Luth”).

It appears that many denominations don’t follow the Holy Bible.
Good enough for me too. Mormons are good people and while its true that some of their beliefs are strange, I also think that some are taken out of context for these anti-Mormon essays.
I really like most of the Mormons I know, and I appreciate their support of scouting and other issues that are important to me. I’m fine with leaving it at that.
Well, geez, then, let's focus on the evil Mormons and ignore the islamofascists.
And Mormons serve honorably in the armed forces.
That doesn't mean that the teachings of the Mormons won't send a person straight to the lake of fire (see Revelation 20) and to their eternal separation from God and eternal torment though.
Serving well in the armed forces tells you nothing about your eternal destiny as the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob tells us about in the Bible.
The Mormon teachings are lies straight from the pit of Hell and the devil himself.
I take it you're not a Calvinist. :-)
Horrid little man. We need to get him out of Congress.
Well, geez, then, let's focus on the evil Mormons and ignore the islamofascists.
The teachings of the Mormons and the teachings of the Islamics (Muslims) are both straight from the pit of Hell. They will both lead a person to eternal damnation.
Satan has 1,000 ways and millions of lies -- to the one Truth of the Bible and the one way that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob has given to us for salvation. There is no other way that what the Bible specifically tells us.
Now, if you're talking about criminal acts and bombing buildings, no..., the Mormons are doing that as a religion. The Islamofascists are. But, we're not talking about criminal acts here, when we talk about this -- we're talking about sending someone "straight to hell" and both the Mormons and the Islamofascist teachings do that.
