” I have felt the spirit of the Lord when reading the Book of Mormon.”

You may have felt a spirit with you but, I've got a hint for you: “It's NOT the Lord!”

I was once a completely open-minded seeker; As I began to read the Book of Mormon, I asked God to reveal to me any and all truth therein.

Although it started out as a pretty good story, as I progressed, I found it became more and more a justification for the “Manifest Destiny” movement and the extermination and enslavement of the darker skinned peoples of the world.

Far from being ancient in origin, there are way too many nineteenth centuryisms in it. This is what the Holy Spirit showed me, and I wasn't even a Christian yet!

I testify that the same spirit of Love that is in the Bible is also present in the Book of Mormon.

So many who love the Bible have surrender believing it is impossible to keep the Lord’s Commandments or covenants so they rest on all one has to do is believe but they need not strive to uphold Lord’s commandments.

But in the Book of Mormon I have come to learn it is the Lord which enables one to wax strong in the ways of the Lord.

When one strives to obey the counsel of the Lord and is applied in one’s life one is able to bridle in their natural man tendencies.

The opposition does not teach man to be good for it is not in the devil to promote good for he is the father of lies and the merchant of doubt and fear.

I know you do not agree but this is my testimony!
