FreeRepublic is different things to different people.
That being said, everyone here needs a time out.
It isn’t terrible sticking up for leenie, it’s terrible when you start casting personal attacks on someone and accusing them of something they are not guilty of doing.
If you didn’t notice, I posted a prayer warrior ping. That’s one of my “jobs” on FR...a self-imposed job that I love doing.
You attacked Leenie. Ive gotten a freepmail from her and don’t blame her for not posting everything here because of eastforker and his band of abuse likers.
Take a deap breath, hold on. and define your personal space. The space where you feel comfortable. That may take some time, it took me weeks. Once you find it, stay in that space for a while. Right now, I am at over a year. Let the hurt wash through you and do nothing else. Acting out of emotion will cause more pain. Just hold on and find your personal space again. After that, then look at what your next step appears to be. It will be a lot easier to see then. Now (speaking from experience) its impossible.
Breathe, you will be ok. This has 100000000% more to do with him than it does with you.

Rex-gof, I hate to break this to you, but many women welcome any kind of drama, including a husband’s infidelity, because there is something they crave more, and that’s attention.
From a logical point of view, I agree with the feminazis— women shouldn’t feel obligated to put up with this kind of Clintonesque behavior. But what if the feminazis are wrong about the nature of women, and chauvinism is the truth? Criticizing women is even more taboo than criticizing homosexuals or religion, so I won’t elaborate. Do save yourself the headache though and realize that deep down, no one really wants or cares about Social Justice, Equality, and other contemporary shibboleths.

It is a common practice here. Done it myself. Besides, we don’t regard each other as exactly strangers.
All right...all I asked...is for those people who wanted to pray...to pray for my marriage and this thread has turned into a venomous free for all. Name calling and accusations all over the place...private info being bandied about...all for what??? to make a point?? a point of what? What, in all of this crap, is bringing glory to God? How a simple prayer request can bring out the worst in people is beyond me.
When someone in my church asks for prayer...we just pray. We don’t google them to see if they are worthy of our time...we don’t talk about them...we pray. We climb into our prayer closets and take it to the Lord.
When someone is in pain...we pray..we do not dissect their request to see if it is grammatically correct or otherwise politically correct...we pray.
All these accusations are simply coming into agreement with the enemy of our souls. For he is the accuser of the brethren. My marriage problems are nothing compared to prayer need of some on this thread who are not showing the light of Christ in what they have written here. Whatever happened to unity? Whatever happened to bearing each other’s weaknesses and to bring an encouraging word to those whose faith is less than our own?
This thread has turned into a free for all..it is ugly...I am sorry I ever brought my prayer request to this forum.
