Mary is doing well but is having trouble sleeping so please pray ... also pray that her body doesnt reject the new kidney. She cannot have any visitors even after she gets home so please be sensitive to her need for rest and healing. She will receive phone calls as she is able. Thank you for all your prayers and loving concern. You are greatly appreciated!
From Mary’s dear husband
A friend's dad had a kidney transplant and the first thing he wanted to do was drink great big glass of cold milk. It was something he, and I guess everybody who has kidney failure, was not able to do for YEARS. He was also ecstatic to be able to pee!
Dear Lord, our Father God, reach out your healing touch to Marysecatary and her loved ones. Give peace and wisdom to all involved has you heal her. In Jesus’ name Amen.
Prayers for a successful recovery. Godspeed to you.
Prayers up! Mary you are in our prayers! We love you and miss you.

UPDATE:
From: J.S. Subject: Mary
Date: Wednesday, November 11, 2009, 5:11 PM Hi... Mary came home today - PTL! Will have to go back Fri to be checked (no dialysis!!!)
:)
They request NO visitors please.
Prayers continued.
Thanks to all of you, my precious FReeper friends and family. I came home after six days and every day I grow stronger and stronger. I was exhausted after surgery but am now feeling truly wonderful. I have a wonderful and faithful God and my husband is doing everything possible to care for me. He’s had to learn all about medications and depends (lol) and cleaning everything all up. He’s my cook and my launderer and just about everything else. He measures my intake and my output. The kidney is working perfectly.
It was difficult to find a match because of all my antibodies, but God did it! They keep cutting back the predisone so I don’t look like the Pillsbury doughboy!
Again, thanks to every one of you for your prayers. I know that’s what did it. Pray that my wound stops leaking and that the water blisters on my legs and feet heal quickly. I gained about 25 pounds of fluid but I’ve lost all but seven pounds of it. I sleep fairly well in my recliner. With my feet and legs ‘bleeding’ fluid, it’s easier to sleep there. God is good and so are YOU. I love you all. Maryxxx
Prayers up for your full recovery!
You have long been one of my favorite freepers.
God bless.
