Hi, homies!
No I was not trying to be sarcastic. And No I didn’t take your post as hostile. I didn’t know those facts; I don’t have an answer. I have to step out of the ring — of course, mumbling threats under my breath.
I meant by “stomped,” only that the ARGUMENT had stomped me, not you, PWT. I learn from your posts and don’t view you as a hostile witness but as a brother searcher trying to speak the truth in hopes that the Truth Himself will enlighten our minds.
(Maybe it’s like sympathetic magic?)
You got some good hysterical sources on that period? Could you, would you, share where you got those gems? History has NEVER been my strong suit — it doesn’t go with ADD — but I like to read it anyway. Better to fail at a great endeavor than to succeed at a mean one.
Thanks, MD. There’s a lot to learn, which seems to grow more apparent to me with time.
Try Robin Lane Fox's _Pagans and Christians_. For something more recent, H. A. Drake's _Constantine and the Bishops__. Neither is a short read.
