Or poorly defined.
It's good to hang around people who pray a lot.
Roger that.
Grandkids made a creche with us for a project one year, and we had the wise men with real gifts, gold (from my jewelry) frankincense (from the monastery) and myrrh (from a health food store).
I am still praying for them, for vocations. Have done so for many years.
I need some grandkids!

Obama Says A Baby Is A Punishment
Obama: If they make a mistake, I dont want them punished with a baby.
(are you doing the 40 days for Life thing? We’re out there in front of PP praying for God to punish these poor mothers with babies ... we’re such horrible people. ;-) )
Matthew 25:19-23. Some men are better than others because of their talents. Some simply do better than others with the talents that they do have.
Me, I can only try to hang my hat on a rather poor imitation of Luke 15.
But I'll tell you what I think is important: What does St. Paul mean when he says "Star differs from star." My impression is that he contemplates not only a difference in kind but in degree.
Still, the formulation to stick with is, "Everyone in heaven is as happy as he can be!"
***Okay, I’ll admit that my humility is really quite remarkable! (I’m very proud of my humility.)***
Weird Al Yankovic: Amish Paradise
I’d suggest that if you haven’t had the experience that you do it immediately if not sooner. Excerpt:
We’ve been spending most our lives
Living in an Amish paradise
We’re just plain and simple guys
Living in an Amish paradise
There’s no time for sin and vice
Living in an Amish paradise
We don’t fight, we all play nice
Living in an Amish paradise
Hitchin’ up the buggy, churnin’ lots of butter
Raised the barn on Monday, soon I’ll raise a’nudder
Think you’re really righteous? Think you’re pure in heart?
Well, I know I’m a million times as humble as thou art...
***But I’ll tell you what I think is important: What does St. Paul mean when he says “Star differs from star.” My impression is that he contemplates not only a difference in kind but in degree.***
Could be; there are differences within stars, but also in celestial bodies - star versus planet.
***Still, the formulation to stick with is, “Everyone in heaven is as happy as he can be!”***
Perhaps my take on it differs somewhat; everyone in heaven is overjoyed to be in the presence of God.
