“”Notice how much wrenching you must do to bend the natural meaning of the text into your construct...””

I'm not the one saying God creates people for the purpose of evil and hate, thus making evil part of the essence of God.Hate is an imperfection if it was willed by God. Trying to cover it up with sovereignty only works for a zeus type creator, not a loving merciful God

The Scriptures say God is perfection...

God is faithful and without iniquity (Deut. xxxii, 4); Thine eyes are clean, O Lord, and thou canst not look upon iniquity (Hab. i, 13).

That’s right...you folks are stuck with that sanitized Bible. Did they remove???:

Is. 45:5 - 7 “I am the LORD, and there is no other; Besides Me there is no God. I will gird you, though you have not known Me; That men may know from the rising to the setting of the sun that there is no one besides Me. I am the LORD, and there is no other, the One forming light and creating darkness, causing well-being and creating calamity; I am the LORD who does all these things.

Is. 63:17 “Why, O Lord, do You cause us to stray from Your ways and harden our heart from fearing You?...”

Hab. 1:6 “For behold, I am raising up the Chaldeans, that fierce and impetuous people who march throughout the earth to seize dwelling places which are not theirs.”

Ex. 14:4 “Thus I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and he will chase after them; and I will be honored through Pharaoh and all his army, and the Egyptians will know that I am the LORD.” And they did so.”

Amos 3:6 “If a trumpet is blown in a city will not the people tremble? If a calamity occurs in a city has not the LORD done it?”

There is much more biblical evidence available that God is the transcendent, sovereign controller of all things. The philosophical balderdash cooked up to satisfy the pagan tastes of Rome stinks. Their tall hats and fancy robes will follow them into the pit. Repent Rome, if you can.
