God expects some of His truths to be self-evident and some to be dug out by prayerful study.
"It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter" Proverbs 25:2
The Lord hides treasure in His word, desiring that we would seek it out. We are counseled to "seek and find."
