Here are some verses to chew on:
Revelation 7:3-5 (New King James Version) 3 saying, Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads. 4 And I heard the number of those who were sealed. One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed:
Revelation 7:17 (New King James Version) 17 for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters.[a] And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.
Revelation 14:1-5 (New King James Version) Revelation 14 The Lamb and the 144,000 1 Then I looked, and behold, a[a] Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having[b] His Fathers name written on their foreheads. 2 And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of loud thunder. And I heard the sound of harpists playing their harps. 3 They sang as it were a new song before the throne, before the four living creatures, and the elders; and no one could learn that song except the hundred and forty-four thousand who were redeemed from the earth. 4 These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed[c] from among men, being firstfruits to God and to the Lamb. 5 And in their mouth was found no deceit,[d] for they are without fault before the throne of God.[e]
Revelation 17:14 (New King James Version) 14 These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful.
In the New Jerusalem also:
Revelation 21:12 (New King James Version) 12 Also she had a great and high wall with twelve gates, and twelve angels at the gates, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
In Rev. 14 we see the one hundred and forty for thousand with Christ in the heavenly Mount Zion (cf. Heb. 12:22). They are worshiping the Lamb. We are told, They sang as it were a new song before the throne, before the four living creatures, and the elders;. This description harkens back to Rev. 7 where the angels, and elders, and four living creatures are around the throne in heaven.
The fact is there are no verses that describe the activities of the one hundred and forty four thousand as bring[ing] Israel back to Jehovah. Im afraid that is merely an unsupported theory of some futurists that you have adopted.
EXCELLENT VERSES, OF COURSE.
Though . . .
—they aren’t in the REPLACEMENTARIANS et al RUBBER BIBLES
—if they were, the RUBBER LOGIC functions would render the verses neutered in the minds of the REPLACEMENTARIANS et al
