Exit polls are typically fairly accurate, within 4-5%. The fact is that Catholics broke for Barack Obama, while those hated, illegitimate, evil evangelicals overwhelmingly voted for McCain. If Catholics voted for McCain like the evangelicals did, we'd have President McCain, VP Palin, and Senator Obama.

Draw the conclusion that you will, but when the majority of Catholics vote for a President who holds clearly anti-Christian viewpoints, and when you have many ex-Catholics here saying the exact same thing, maybe it's time to look at the errors of the Church.

But I know, the "Church" can never make an error, it is without blame, it is perfect in all that it does. Right?

The majority of Catholics who actually attend a Catholic church on a weekly basis voted for McCain.

I don't think it's fair to blame the church for the misdeeds of people who don't obey her in the first place. It's kind of like blaming a mother for the crimes committed by a son who ran away long ago.

***Exit polls are typically fairly accurate, within 4-5%.***

Hardly. Most exit polls, especially during contentious elections, are off as much as 20%.

***But I know, the “Church” can never make an error, it is without blame, it is perfect in all that it does. Right?***

Amusing, yet without substance. The Church will not have the gates of hell prevail against it. That is Scriptural. How Scriptural is the organization that you belong to?

Nonscientific baloney.

...when the majority of Catholics vote for a President who holds clearly anti-Christian viewpoints...

If that ever happens, non-scientific exit polling will still not be proof of anything.
