LOL. Would it be sacrilege to suggest "Life of Brian"? It lampoons religion, but also teaches about the arguments on both sides.

I noted this part of the article:

That is why Passion of the Christ is not included.

There was a movie with Gregory Peck as a priest, and he couldn't leave the Vatican grounds without sneaking out, because the Nazis wanted to arrest him. What was the name of that one?

What about the Blues Brothers?

One of my all time favorites!

It's right up there with Sister Act! Unfortunately, neither one presents a positive understanding of the Catholic faith. Plenty of laughs, though, for those of us who attended Catholic schools, pre Vatican Council II.
