I find it hard to believe that you were once a “Protestant” and are now catholic.

I have met many catholics in my life and they were all born and raised in that church and are raised believing that you can sin on Friday night and “just go to confessional to be forgiven.”

That is called trampling on the precious blood of Christ, which is a.k.a.: willful sin.

No Protestant I have ever talked to could ever accept that the pope is infallible. The pope is a man who sins. To say he doesn’t is blasphemy, plain and simple.

You apparently do not understand what Papal Infallibility, or Church Infallibility means.

If you will read my original post you will see that I myself volunteer that the Pope is a sinner, just like you and me. He can and does sin. The Catholic Church does not teach and never has taught otherwise. If you would like to know what the Church really teaches about Papal Infallibility this link is helpful.

I've talked to a few former Protestants, now Catholic...

They all had one thing in common...They admittedly have never in their lives as Protestants turned to Jesus and called on Him to save them...

Which, as I see it, they were not Christians while they were Protestants...
